Titanus Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 They've finally started to emerge! 5 have successfully eclosed thus far (still have 16 pupae left). They have been raised on a 100% maple based substrate (70% leaves, 30% wood) and are all in excellent health (figured you'd want to know Orin!). They spend all their time either munching on beetle jelly/mangoes/bananas or flying noisily around the breeding arena. They look like little blue gems don't they?! Quote
Lucanus Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Awesome! Looking forward to see group shot of all adults when they emerge Quote
Titanus Posted March 13, 2013 Author Report Posted March 13, 2013 Should be fun! I'm hoping for an army of grubs Quote
blacknova84 Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Wow I can't believe how blue those are. Nice job, hopefully the rest emerge soon. Good luck. Quote

Chuck4th Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Are you able to identify the sex of them? Just wondering if it is males emerging early. Thanks, they sure are pretty. Quote
