Dynastes TItyus hunter
I recently wanted to put a light trap up but I saw that my wires need replacing. How do you connect a mogul socket to a ballast port?
Dynastes TItyus hunter
Basically connecting this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RDTH13A/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A2PQGFJXAT8J9K&psc=1 to this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036ZA9AC/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=
JKim
You cut off female side. connect black to black, white to white, Loop the green, and tape it to itself. Once you cut it, it will look this way.

Dynastes TItyus hunter
So should I just make a nub with the green? Using electrical tape.
Dynastes TItyus hunter
And also I see that in picture four that there are 4 cords inside. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RDTH13A/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A2PQGFJXAT8J9K&psc=1 It might be wrong though. JKim
I don't get notification if you don't quote my post... Even if you say bump, I don't get notification..haha I don't know why there are four cables, but it should be only three as neutral, ground, positive. kevink
electricity is easier than you might think- white is always neutral, black is hot, other colors may be grounds, if you don't need a wire, put on a wire nut and tape it off. I'm self taught handyman, it looks overwhelming at first, but it's cake once you get into it.
