While I was looking throught the substrate where I was keeping D. brevis, I found 9 D. brevis larvae :D

My question is, how long does it take for L1 larvae of this species to become L3?

I've been keeping adults for only about two months now and I already have L3 so I was wondering if they are fast growers.

Lucky! :D Ryan Minard could probably help you with this one. Good luck!!

Thank you :D

Ryan told me that they take quite long time to mature but one of the larvae I have is already turning into L3. So I was wondering.

maybe since they are small species, they grow faster

Perhaps....

I guess they can grow fast depending on what substrate you raise :D

True... but I've never kept L1s... until now... so we will have to see .

I think I did have a few L2s...
