shoegazer
Getting a little cabin fever here in the frigid Great Plains... I decided to dig up my 2.5g Eleodes terrarium to see just how many larvae were in there and how they looked. I had originally kept 5 different Eleodes sp. in there at one point or another through spring/summer and I knew several had laid eggs. The adults all died over Nov-Jan, and by last week, none were left except a single large hispilabris female that I never found a male for. 66 larvae were found, and although you can definitely see two different types of larvae, it will be interesting to see which species will reappear.
