Honestly_Vitali
Hello! I'm currently living in Japan, though I grew up in the USA. And I have been learning how much I love beetles here! I currently have a Chalcosomacaucasus, Hector, who I'll attach a picture of. I've had kabutomushi, Japanese rhino beetles, too! Nice to meet you all!
The Mantis Menagerie
Welcome! Living in the beetle breeding capital of the world, you have access to all the species and specially formulated supplies we American hobbyists dream of. May I recommend Phalacrognathus muelleri as an easy to breed yet amazing species that is supposed to be quite common in Japanese markets? Ratmosphere
Welcome! This species is a pretty good starter as well. Better alternative would be Dynastes hercules hercules, one of the easiest species to breed in my experience.
PowerHobo
Welcome to the forum. You've got my favorite beetle there, and he's beautiful! Enjoy!
Dynastes
Welcome! My daughter is living in Japan but I can't convince her to keep beetles (I did get her to check out some pet supplies and shops).
