TopHatAce
Hey everyone, My name's TopHatAce and I'm a morphology and behaviour researcher. I study how behaviour and appearence correlate in both reptiles and insects, and part of that involves keeping beetles. I mainly keep predatory beetles like Calosoma and Cicindelinae, but I'm interested in anything that's... well, interesting. I've got a lot of reptiles, and own a little educational facility / pet shop in Monroe, NC.

Greatwun
Welcome to the forums! I love reptiles just as much as beetles, especially snakes.
LarvaHunter
Welcome! Your research sounds very interesting, I like to study beetles for biomimicry purposes. Reptiles are really neat as well. Can you share any behavior/morphology correlations that you have observed between reptiles and beetles? I would be extremely interested to know. Are you talking color patterns or even more? TopHatAce
LarvaHunter, my research is in predatory behaviour, and surprisingly, there are a lot of similarities in hunting and stalking behaviour in predatory carnivores, regardless of species. I'll do up a post once I finish my current project
