yorees
Hey guys, I'm Alan! I have been into insects and arachnids my whole life but took a break from them the past few years to build a pretty large plant and seed collection. I actually study ethnobotany, which is a study of the traditional knowledge and uses of plants and humans in different cultures. Anyway I am restarting a new live insect collection from scratch and hoping to acquire and learn about different types of beetles as well as other cool inverts. Currently I just have a Wheel Bug (Arilus cristatus) and a Brown Recluse. Can't Wait to get deeper into this fantastic hobby and learn about your'alls experiences with beetles! :D

Peter Clausen
Welcome, Alan. Bugs and plants are my two favs, though I devote almost no time to the latter. Time constraints! Activity levels of bugs tend to interest me a little bit more but I do have my eye on a few seeds from jreidsma's collection.
