Lucanus
My female ox beetle pupa emerged as an adult today. So I want to know how long it takes for an Aloeus to be active after its emergence. Also, I have her father still alive so is it possible to cross this male (about 9 month old) with the newly emerged female?
Dynastes
It may be frowned on in polite society but if he's still healthy and you have no other males it sounds like a great way to keep the line going.

The male is still very active and he shows no sign of health problem. I guess I will have to use this male for breeding. Thank you for the reply.
