Hard to tell from this angle and how blurred this image is. When you request an ID help, please upload an image from top, and if you can upload multiple files, then with different angles too. Please also consider providing a locational information, like city, states, and country, not a living room or a bedroom. Identifying an insect (unless very obvious in color, pattern, and such) on Internet based on blurred image is very confusing. It is either Dorcus parallelus or D. brevis, if it is living room in the US.
