Floral foam

Hi Everyone,

I am in search of helpful advice on what type of floral foam to use for artificial pupal cells. I want the kind that you can spray with water and it get soaked in/absorbed. Currently, my floral foam resists water and it just stands on the surface of the foam. I have tried soaking it for hours but it doesn’t change.

There are different floral foams out there. One you got is probably for artificial (plastic/fabric) flowers, generally referred as "dry floral foam".
One you need is "wet floral foam."

What you can do with dry foam is to cut out hole like pupal cell, and place wet (but not dripping) paper towel on it, and keep it in plastic container with some mist around until you can acquire the right one (wet floral foam)
