There is an old stump near my house in Indiana and I have identified at least 2 lucanus capreolus. how do I catch Larvae of Lucanus capreolus in case they are in the stump? Betta132 Posted December 10, 2017 Report Share Posted December 10, 2017 I'd suggest breaking the stump open into just a few pieces, leaving it all in one place so any remaining bugs can still burrow into and feed off the large chunks.
