I found some beetles as grubs and they recently emerged, they appear to be flower beetles but I'm not sure. Any ID would be great, and any care tips as well. Thanks!

Also, they were found inside of a rotten log and appear to be around 3 and 1/2 to 5 mm long. And the genus might be cremastocheilus

So far, it just looks like Cremastocheilus harrisii (I might be wrong)

They are definitely not Cremastocheilus, I can tell you that much.


I'm thinking they are something more along the lines of Valgus, maybe Valgus seticollis.

No problem! :) Well I've never cared for them before, but there is a thread from someone who kept and reared WC larvae on Bugguide.
