muddymire
That first beetle is beautiful! Sorry I can't help but I'm watching this thread...
Lucanus
davidis is very rare compare to dichotomus. They are rarely offered in the trade (though they have become much more common than in the past) so you'll probably won't be able to find much info on them. muddymire
I'd like to now that you've shown me them. Damn it. I'm trying to keep my interest in exotics down, as I'm sure you know why now. It's a risk and I might be tapped on the shoulder for this but keep an eye on Iris Beetle and Kingdom of Beetle. Iris is out of Japan and Kingdom is based in Taiwan; both have risks associated with them. You can have shipments seized and the contents incinnerated if you do not have the required permits, you'll also recieve a letter from customs. I know of no exotic dealers within the US. muddymire
Hypothetically they'd have permits and sell dried, or live to people with permits. Permit permit permit. I permit you. I think many choose to ignore safely. Just don't release any! People have a hard time with that though…. I guess.
