Greatwun
Went to check on some eggs today and to my surprise I found 3 tiny Strategus splendens grubs. Last month I found a female S. splendens while collecting around lights. Soon after she laid 4 eggs before I sent her to Lucanus. Of the 4 eggs, 3 became translucent and swollen while a 4th remained small and opaque color. I suspect the 4th egg is infertile. Took them about 4 weeks to hatch. Lucanus
Congratulation! Hope the last egg hatches too PS the two eggs I got from your female have swollen up so I think mine are fertile too
