Predatory Mites or Sources?

Acro

Cerambycidae
I am looking to get some Predatory Mites.

Anyone have any to sell?

If not, please suggest a good place to buy them.

They irritate the larva/beetles and eat their food. plus if they run out of food they attach to the larva/beetles.

Great. I wonder if that's what I have. I saw a tiny mite crawling in my mantis cup and I'm almost 100% sure it was a grain mite from my fruit fly culture.

I honestly thought you were looking for pet mites...and I currently have 2 velvets.

I did a little more searching and found the answer to my question. I went to RoachForum and found the type of predatory mite and a recommended source (I knew I remembered reading about it before). So here is what you want: "Hypoaspis miles" and there are many companies selling them online, but 2 roach forum members suggested this place:

http://www.evergreengrowers.com/fungus-gnat-control/stratiolaelaps-hypoaspis-scimitus-womersley-fungus-gnat-control/stratiolaelaps-scimitus-womersley-hypoaspis.html

That is the link to the predatory mite that works on pest mites.

Good Luck!

And . . . Velvet mites are cute, thanks for the suggestion Amici Con Coleotteri!

This is kind of gross but here's a picture of fungus mites( if that's what u call it)

That's good to know what they look like. How did the slime mold grow?

On YouTube there is videos of Physarum polycephalum slime mold solving mazes.
