Mezium Affine never move? Is this bad or normal?

It's normal. Last time I checked mine they were moving but sometimes they won't move for months.

When are you checking them for movement?  If it's during the day, it's not likely to see them moving around.  Mine come out at night and seem to throw little parties!  But really, they seem to be very active at night.

They won't move for months?!?!  Again, are you checking during the day?  My spider beetles walk and climb around every night.  Even if I leave the lights on in the room, at night they start to come out.  But if I turn the lights off, even more come out and start walking/climbing around.

Try to observe them at night and let us know what you see!  :D

What size colony do you have?  Mine is rather large . . . maybe that makes a difference?

What is the setup like?  What do you feed?  

 
The colony consists of about 50 individual adults and I keep them in a small kritter keeper by my heater (not too close) and their substrate/food consists of wheat bran, non-medicated chick feed, oats, and a couple pieces of dog food. They also have egg carton hides and i give them a piece of fruit or veggie once in a while.

Also, last night i saw a few of them moving, so theres that lol
