DeadInTheBasement
I find these often and i have never kept them before. I collected a few today because i thought they would look interesting i an aquarium. Any tips on raising them?
Lucanus
Lucky you! I wish I can find that many diving beetles in my area. They should feed on live crickets, worms, fish food, frozen bloodworms, etc. I believe this species will lay their eggs in Java moss just like their relatives. L1 larvae will be tiny so you should provied some small bloodworms, or provide newly hatched mosquito larvae. I don't know what else to add. lol
DeadInTheBasement
I went to check my tub of water outside to see if anymore flew in and found this instead. It wanted to be aquatic too.
Peter Clausen
Very neat, DITB! They have a nice pattern on the elytra. Funny about the tiger beetle, and not a bad score either!
