Regiarbol
I went to a beetle shop in Taiwan a few days ago and bought a specimen I thought was Chalcosoma Caucasus. However, the clerk told me that the name Chalcosoma Caucasus was replaced with Chalcosoma Chiron some time ago, and he even showed me that there was no Chalcosoma Caucasus in a Japanese Chalcosoma region map. Is this true?
Dynastes
It may be true but all the various books and sources still have it listed as caucasus and it would be a synonym.
