Ratmosphere
Took only a week to socialize this monster. Love this pede.
PowerHobo
Been watching this progress on your IG. That is an impressive creature!
Anacimas
Have you been bitten in the socialization process? Would like to know more about your technique, but I won't presume to probe into any trade secrets.
Ratmosphere
Never have been bit yet and I plan not to. I have some that will try and bite so I don't bother with handling them. Others are more laid back but that does not mean you could just pick them up. It takes time through hand feeding, getting them to know your "scent", and by physical touch. They could be jumpy at first but after hours of working with them, they start to calm down.
Stardawg
That is just insane. How strong is the venom for this species? I hear centipede bites are no joke
Ratmosphere
I hear the venom itself isn't as painful as pedes like Scolopendra dehaani but if you have an unknown allergic reaction it could get bad.
