Mashku Posted December 18, 2009 Report Share Posted December 18, 2009 Prosopocoilus giraffa is the longest Stagbeetle in the World. Prosopocoilus giraffa keisukei can be 120 mm (4,7244094"). Cyclommathus metallifer C. elaphus and C. imperator has the longest mandiebles by proportion, whis can be longer than the head, thorax and body together. the combined lenght is 90mm (3,5433071"). The biggest Genera (i think) is Odontolabis. O. dalmanni, O. bellicosa, O. ludekingi are the representable exampele. Greetings, Mashku. Dynastes Posted January 6, 2010 Report Share Posted January 6, 2010 If you're going by size (mass) rather than just length there are a number of monstrous Odontolabis (a few mentioned) that dwarf those species with the super-long mandibles and little bodies.
