Crammg212
Hi Everyone, I just saw now I should have posted here first. My name is Charlie, and I live in NY. I recently visited Japan and saw my first Hercules beetle. I was truly amazed by their size and strength as the owners demonstrated with 2 males. Then I started researching information about the care for these beetles as a pet. From I read they make a great pet and a fun hobby. From breeding South American cichlids, I think the raising of beetles is going to be great seeing the actual growth cycle. Well that's basically it. =) Cheers all, Charlie
Dynastes
Welcome Charlie! In the US we've got the smaller (but still impressive and beautiful) relatives of D. hercules: D. granti and D.tityus.
