Hi everyone
Ever sense I got these beetles, I have been wanting babies. I have seen them "do it" plenty, at almost all times they are
I think I may be getting eggs. They are tiny white clumps of tinier white eggs. But the beetles are not burring them, just letting them go on the top of the soil (if these are indeed eggs). None have hatched as of yet, and I cannot find any larva (I just moved them over into a new container yesterday). Or maybe these are just nothing and I am confused
When I moved them over I scooped up anything that resembled eggs, and put them in a small container where I am trying to keep them slightly moist in hopes they will hatch.
I have them in sand mixed with coconut fiber/coir (at about a 30-70 ratio of coconut to sand). Any advice on substrate would be appreciated if changes are needed
Maybe I need more coconut coir than sand?
I was hoping to get babies for trades, I already have 15 of these beetles and that is plenty for me.
