Recently I noticed one of my dynastes Granti eggs had a dent in it. (I know I didn't do it, since I saw it before I touched it.) When I felt it carefully, It was squishy like a half filled ballon. Is the egg "Dead"?
I've never seen that before. When they are new they're white and firm. As they approach hatching thet appear to swell up a bit and take on a yellowish, slightly translucent quality.
