questions about kinshi

so i plan on starting to breed mesotopus and i realize that they need a special type of kinshi, but does the container last a whole larvae or what? like will i need to move the larvae? These will be some of the first lucanids i breed

The container should not have to be replaced unless the kinshi is overrun with flies or other fungi.

are you sure? i thouht i read somewhere that they need to be replaced every 3 months or something?

Running out of food depends on the species, the size of the kinshi bottle, and even the gender. Stag larvae can be harmed and killed from too much handling so decent planning makes it easy to avoid switching bottles. You know Mesotopus need turkey tail kinshi?

Where can you buy turkey tail kinshi? I just recieved some mesotopus from oak and have been wondering where the best place to find some is?
