Hi, I recently built a wooden roach bin and am wondering which of these 2 would be the safest option for my roaches. I know that if I use a polyurethane I will have to wait for 30 days or so until it is food grade safe. With the liquid rubber I think letting it sit for a few days should do but my question would be which of these are the safer option? Does anybody have experience with building wooden enclosures that need to withstand some amount of humidity? In this case about 60% humidity. I will be using it for 2 dubia colonies. Can the roaches chew through the rubber or oil based poly finish? Would covering it in some sort of plastic be a better option? Any suggestions are appreciated as this is my first shot at building an enclosure and I can't seem to find any information online about people building wooden roach bins or anything similar.
