Mulberry leaves and Oak wood for Dynastes larva?

Just wondering of anyone knows if a 50/50 Oak wood to Mulberry leaf compost will work for Dynastes Larva? I do not have any access to oak leaves, so wondering if anyone knows if Mulberry leaves will work. I did some research and Mulberry is a hardwood tree. Thanks!

Mulberry is fine though remember the leaves should be brown and decaying.

If you try to make leaf mulch out of freshly collected leaves it takes months and can lead to a few problems.
