L. elaphus question

Hello MY L Elaphus Dugged down in into the substrate below the decayed wood and has started digging what looks to be a Papual cell. These are the first L Elaphus I haved tried to rear. Any idea what might be going on? Thanks much, Gene Shatrowsky I do have a pic of it but not sure how to post it.

The ones I gave yaello Ryan Actually Ryan I purchased these last oct, From a gentleman in Virginia. All of yours are still feeding. Will send you a pic of the larvae in question. Thanks for your help

This is a reasonable time of year for them to make pupal cells. It doesn't take long to change to adult but the beetles won't lay eggs till next summer.
