IT HAS BEGUN!!

My Phileurus truncatus pupae started to emerge as of last night! So far three have emerged and they are one male and two females. All of the larvae I collected in the last few months are in the pupa stage now and should become adult beetles within the next few weeks.

Awesome! Those horns are a LOT larger than the two P. truncatus I had a couple of years ago! Nice job, Greatwun!

They are nice large horns and I have a few larger ones still in the pupa stage. Can't wait to measure them after they emerge.

Weather has been pretty warm here which is why they probably pupated early. Yours should pupate soon.
