How many Nematodes is too many Nematodes

I have a separate microwave I got on marketplace just for sub.

Just put the sub in a container, let er' rip in the microwave.

Then stir, repeat. Make sure it does not dry out.

Sounds good!

I might try that then, I just got their new flake soil today so I'll be changing it in a day or two.

Soil has been changed! He seems to be settling into his new soil alright. He has already made a bit of a cave for himself overnight, so I think he'll be alright.

I still see some signs on potential nematode trials in the condensation, but wasn't able to actually spot one, so hopefully the population is low enough that I'll have to change the soil anyway before they become an issue.

Thanks to everyone that helped give me advise.

You have to replace it. The nematodes can cause black spot disease and can be found in the frass of the larva. So, replace the entire flake and don't heat treat because the flake will be useless afterward.
Wait what are all the diseases Beetles can get? Would be more helpful if it was information that helps adult Dorcus Titanus Palawanicus, since my DTP is injured from shipping.

I would say that many could kill even rhino and flower beetle grubs. Stags usually a few is bad.
they wouldnt directly kill the larvae but it does take up nutrients from te soil tho and also loosens up the soil at the same time. So the only timing its rlly dangerous is when the larvae is making a pupae chamber if the soil gets too loose due to the nematodes and end up collapsing its no goody

They might not exactly kill the larvae but they'll certainly feed on its corpse.
