get rid of mites not of goliath?

Hello, one of my stag beetle larvae has a lot of mites and I'm concerned because its is always near the surface of the soil, and it also seems to be bothered by them.  I know that you can dry the mites out if you put them in dry wood shavings, but I only heard it from people who are doing it for goliath beetle larvae.  I would think that the goliath larvae are more tolerant to drying out than other larvae, does that method work for all types of beetle larvae, or my stag beetle larvae dry out too?

I head that farmers use predatory mites to kill bad mites on the crops, would that work?

If you want to get rid of mites on the larvae, use pine wood shavings that are often sold on petstores. I can guarantee 90% of the mites will fall off in 2 days.

Predatory mites usually work well but slowly, if you can get them. Drying out a stag larva for even half a day will almost certainly prevent it from growing to become a healthy beetle and the mites take longer to dry. Just lay off any koi food, leaf grindings, etc.
