Female or Male P. truncatus

Phileurus is a rarely collected beetle in the United States. Photos on bugguide suggest that males have horns like this:

However, the specimen I caught a few weeks ago in Arizona has very lobed horns (see attached, below).

Can anybody describe the sexes of these beetles?

That photo on bugguide is a female. Whoever wrote it was a male had no idea what they were talking about.

Your beetle is a male.

 
I feared as much. I couldn't find any of P. truncatus on bugguide.net that showed lobed horns to the same degree as this specimen I caught. Thanks Orin!
