I just got a colony of these. Now, how much do I have to prepare the item I'm throwing in there. I've read everything from that you have to remove as much meat as possible and dry it out from that you just throw the whole animal in. Just wondering what you all do that have them.

I've just fed them dog food, however, I'm sure the prep has to do with size of your colony and the size of the item. They are pretty small so you might need a hundred to clean a mouse skeleton. Of course another variable is how long it will take.

Thanks Orin. There's probably a few hundred in my colony. I suppose I could just throw one of the frozen pinkies that I have in there and see how long it takes them.

Skin them and remove eyes,tougne[sp] and if you want to reduce stench the brains.
