Hello, recently while out walking I came across an empty glass bottle filled with beetle carapace and underneath this bottle is an ants nest, are the two connected in anyway?
Those beetles are solitary so they drink too much while the social ants don't get lost in the bottle. Maybe the ants have set up near a food source? They have no trouble with glass.
