Banned insect list by state?

I've looked on the net and I can't find banned insect lists by states. Anyone know of any links?

Predators are also regulated under the same auspices as secondary plant pests (they could eat a bug that could eat a bug that could eat a plant).

So maybe a better question would be is there a list that states what bugs are legal to sell nationwide?

I doubt there are, each state has it's regulations however I doubt authorities have the time to try to chase you down and charge you with selling native US species. They're more concerned about non-native species.

The only list I can think of is for butterflies commonly used for educational purposes. You can find out which states they're allowed to be shipped to and which states they are not legally allowed to be shipped into.

Beautiful Bugs, are you looking to sell or buy ? If selling - it's the purchaser who would need a permit.
