I am just wondering is there any jumping spider fan who has the same curiosity as me if you can increase the size of a jumping spider like you can do with the beetles. Any methods or theories ???
I caught what is I believe a Regal Jumping spider P. regius at the beginning of summer. I am going to assume as with many other arachnids power feeding would likely increase its size but reduce the spiders life span.
Like I said though I've only had this one for a month and a half probably so I am not certain. They are neat little guys though; they have great personality!
I have a tiny, unknown species that I found out around the Los Angeles area. It's a female, and she's already laid one egg sac. I've had her for about 3 months.
I currently have 3 broods of P. audax, as well as a few other jumpers. The phids are probably my fav though, and the babies are adorable. Really fantastic pets indeed!
