I located a few Amblycheila (Manticora) cylindriformis. I wasn't sure I'd ever see one again since they are rather uncommon. This species can live two or more years in captivity and makes an amazing pet but I don't think there has been any success in captive breeding due to difficulty in getting them to lay a single egg. The energy level and appetite for crickets is amazing though they certainly waste a lot. Two of them were fighting madly over a large black cricket and by the time I got the picture they had busted apart each holding a part of the cricket as shown.

Look at the mandibles on these!

Do they take anything other than meat? Will they supplement with nectar at all?
