Does anyone have experience with how to properly paper beetles? I have some extras that I collected and don't want to pin right now, but I want to save them for later. From the ones I have, it seems like cardboard with plastic and staples, but what kind of plastic should be used/where to get it...

Just for fun, what is the most impressive size you have gotten out of beetles that you have reared? Not necessarily the largest species, but the biggest size for a species! Post some pictures if you have them!

Nothing but great reviews for Alex! I bought a couple of dried stag beetles from him, he shipped quickly and was awesome at communicating! The USPS tried their best to destroy my package, but he shipped them so securely and tightly that their plans were thwarted! Thank you again Alex!

Today was a tragic day, my first death of one of my large beetles, my biggest d. Granti. So.... I was wondering what would be the best way to preserve him? I can't decide if I want to pin him or wrap him, but is there any special method to preserve him either way?

I had a terrific experience buying some stick bug eggs from wizentrop! They were packed and shipped with great care, and he even threw in a couple extra in case there were some casualties. Great communication and I would happily do business with him again!

This specimen measures about 12 cm long, a pretty decent size for the species. Right now researchers think that it is a hybrid species between Adictus tobugses and Craftes obscurres. What do you guys all think?

Does anyone know where I can find the right equipment to do some black lighting? I've been trying to find some of the stuff, but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice before I purchase anything. Cheaper stuff is probably better for now, for my meager student wallet.
