Breeding the D. tityus beetle

I am a newbie to this part of insect keeping and I need help with three unmated adult females of this species. For sure, two of the three have not had the experience of a mating. The third one supposedly has been mated, but as of two days ago, has not shown to have produced eggs. Is there anyone of this forum who has the ability and desire to mate the females if I mail them to you? Is it too late in the season to find any males that are able to do the deeds needed? We can split the larvae later, or I can pay you a fee. Please help!

Just wait a little, after they mate, give the female some time. And then put her in a different container where she can lay eggs. Also, they need to be sexually matured to mate. How many males do you have?

Unmated females lay eggs readily in acceptable substrate. Of course infertile eggs will not hatch. I have a little male but he may not be ready to mate for months so your best bet would be to keep an eye out for a wild male - it is a good time of year.

The season is comming toward the end so unfortunately, it will be hard for you to find the males.
Mine just died... and all my females are alive and well

. I guess males die early, for most Dynastids?

Sorry off-topic... but do any of you guys know where to find Rhinoceros Beetles? I have some HUGE grubs that I will post pics of soon for I.D.

Anyways, good luck finding a male, Rich!
