panicc_button
I have had my Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle larvae for 3 months now and it is getting very large, but I cannot find anywhere online that discusses the size of L3 larvae who are about to pupate. Right now, it is a little more than a dime in diameter and the length of my palm. Roughly how big do these guys get and how should I know when to move it into the container for the pupal stage? Beetlezebub
You can easily have it pupate where it already is, they usually go a yellowy colour before they start to make their pupal cell and then pupate. Do you know what stage you got your larvae at? If the container is big enough it will be fine making its pupal cell where it is now ☺️
