Dragoneze
Hello from a sunny island in southeast asia. I am relatively new to beetle keeping and currently have a Hercules L1/L2 larvae & a Dorcus Titanus young adult. Will love to learn more about beetles in this forum! AlexW
Welcome! Many of us live in the US, and laws there make many beetles illegal. Lots of us will probably envy your cool tropical bugs a lot
Dragoneze
Oh, its illegal in my country too. Not sure why keeping of insects is illegal though we do not have a rich terrestrial ecosystem to start with, it wont affect our ecosystem anyway... joined this forum because i need some advise on making flakesoil for my hercules larvae.... we do not have oak trees over here.. but am starting to experiment on fermenting teak and mahogony sawdust.... getting a whole big bag of sawdust this week to start this "project".... PowerHobo
Welcome to the forum! There's quite a few threads on fermenting hardwood sawdust with excellent information to at least get you started.
