Tonyadams123
What's the best way to catch beetles?
Hisserdude
Well it all depends on what kind of beetles you want to catch. Many beetles are attracted to light, so many hobbyists use light traps at night to catch them. Pitfall traps can be effective for ground beetles and darklings, and old pitfall traps filled with dead insects can attract burying beetles, (based on personal experience). Some beetles will come to maple syrup or sugar water "painted' on trees. Hope this helps!
Max
Really interesting, I always wanted to try some ground (pitfall) traps, what do these looks like and what bait do you put inside?

Max
Any ground lurking beetles, like predatory ones? And dung beetles as well...
