Weird spot on blue death feigning beetle?

Anyone know if this weird white spot on my beetle is normal, or what it could be? The area around the spot always stays dark, and it feels just as hard as the rest of the body, but looks almost like a weird white crust, but flat. I can't tell if it's getting bigger, it looks about the same as before.

Not that I know anything about anything yet, but are not blue death feigning beetles the ones that secrete some kind of powder that makes them that colour? Could it just be that it has rubbed off or some kind of abnormality in it's powder producing pores? You'll have to pardon me if I've said something stupid and am not aware of it.

Possibly this mark is a black spot injury that got transferred to the adult beetle. That seems the most likely to me.

It also looks like it is right in the center of the Electra.
