Managed to capture my Tropisternus female creating an eggcase, I saw the remains of one made in a filtersponge before, not sure if it got eaten or she got interrupted but it's nice she managed to make a new one. Hopefully these eggs are viable and the larvae are easy to raise, I thought Hydrophilus larvae weren't horrible but I only managed to get one to adulthood out of an eggcase or two. Hydrophilus was easy to feed since they just ate snails but Tropisternus seems to be a generalist predator as a larva so it might be trickier to get them to eat.
