Tityus Larvae Concerns

Lately my D. Tityus larvae have been still roaming their substrate, but they are very very yellow by this point and don't really seem to feed much anymore. The last couple times where I've taken them out while moisturizing the substrate, they seem a bit stiff and aren't as active as they were about two months ago. Still very fat and hairier then ever, but no signs of pupal cells just yet but I'm beginning to worry that perhaps the living conditions I have them in aren't suitable enough for them to start? Or maybe they're just not ready yet?

I do apologize if these questions should be easier to figure out then I'm making them out to be. This is just my first time raising larvae and I wanted to make sure I'm doing it right.

They should be doing alright.

If they don't like the environment, they will be surfacing.

And if they are doing that, I would recommend to:

1.take them out

2.add substrate that is very fine(small particles)

3. press it firmly

4. put the original substrate back in and press again

5. put them back in

Oh no, they're not surfacing. They're always on the bottom of the container. But thank you for the advice, I'll keep it in mind! C:
