The jewel beetle which came to my home

I live in tokyo.

The jewel beetle which came to my home ,in july this year.

It had fallen on the point of a door.

This is the first time that the live jewel beetle was caught.

It has been eaten by the noxious insect when saving indifferently.

Is such a jewel beetle in the neighborhood of your house?

Very neat find, looks like Chrysochroa fulgidissima. I wish such beauties would find their way to my door.
