Springtails and stag breeding

Are springtails ok to keep in with your stag beetle breeding setup or could they be a problem and eat the logs your using to breed the beetles?

No problem, they are very useful because they prevents mites invasion.

Springtails are fine to keep with everything, in my experience. They do a great job of cleaning up and don't eat enough to compete with anything else for food. (I mean, I guess if you had an absolute swarm of the things it wouldn't be good, but I've never had them multiply out of control in any of my setups.)
