some new pinned beetles

last year i started collecting dried beetles,after much research on relaxing and pinning i ran out of storage room,so i bought a few shadow boxes to display them.

my first attempt

i have enough spread to do another then i can relax a bunch more(very addicting..lol)

Wow very nice! It seems that you glued your beetles though. And is it just the lighting, or do two of the beetles have blue wings?

Very nice. I'll post some of mine soon I guess. Most of my collections aren't that much of an artistic display but mostly scientific. I'll still post them. Very nice start to a collection!

yeah i added a little spot of glue on the second ones,some of them were quite heavy and i didnt want them to

fall.

and yes orin those are adolphinae

and yeah theh derbyana had a blue reflection in there wings.
