Rhinos are nocturnal so they rest during the day. If you disturb your female too much during daytime then she will become fatigued at night when she is supposed to be active. It's like us being tired when we don't get enough sleep. Keep your enclosure moist and provide adequate amount of fresh food supply for her without disturbing her too much. Observe her behavior for a few days and she should be fine. Japanese rhinos live for two to two and a half months, sometimes three if you're lucky. However, that lifespan is from when they become active, not when they have just eclosed.
