Resin on shelf mushrooms

I was wondering if anyone knew the safest resin and the resin that will prevent the decay of the shelf mushrooms inside I know there is apoxy and stabilizing resin, Heard of UV but it doesn’t work.

Used for display? Maybe a spray clear satin would work, or outdoor lacquer, you might find something at the hardware store or a lumber yard supply.

I know there are clear repair materials for rooted wood. Otherwise, maybe simple heat would work to kill the fungus inside.
