Removing beetle from pupal cell

I have a polyphemus beetle that has recently shed its pupal skin and has become a beetle. It made the pupal cell on the wall of the container, so I can see that it has emerged.

It’s been less than a week since it shed and curiosity and excitement are getting the best of me.

my question is, is it safe to remove the beetle from the cell this early? Or is it best to wait for it to naturally surface?

A week isn't long enough for a beetle of that size to have completely hardened yet; best to just let it emerge naturally, when it's ready.
